This extremely scarce original UNITED STATES CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR ARMY is the very highest military decoration awarded by the United States Government. It is only awarded for the most extreme acts of gallantry in combat, and is the equivalent to the Australian and British Victoria Cross, it is extremely scarce.
This original UNITED STATES ARMY CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR TYPE VI (1964 TO PRESENT) to collector's worldwide. The MOH RIBBON BAR is hallmarked on the reverse G27 for the maker NORTHWEST TERRITORIAL MINT'S GRACO AWARDS DIVISION which is the only authorized current United States Government manufacture.
This MOH is made from bronze - richly GOLD plated with stunning rich enamel work, measuring 39 mm x 57 mm inclusive of its Eagle suspension, on original full-length neck ribbon with thirteen star horizontal octagonal cravat pad with three-prong suspension device sewn to reverse of cravat pad, comes within its original UNITED STATES PRESENTATION CASE marked "MEDAL OF HONOR" and "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" on the lid, the case is in a near mint condition. Enclosed is the original MEDAL OF HONOR, MOH ROSETTE & MOH RIBBON BAR.
